3. Quoting & Submissions
Do you have a storefront or do you accept email submissions?
What information is required to obtain a quote?
- The key pieces of information to know are the NAICS code and description that best fits the business, revenue, we have sources for the rest.
What is your average turnaround time for quotes?
- If you leverage the storefront, you will get an instant decision and opportunity to bind and issue the policy. If submitted via email, the turnaround is generally within 24 hours.
Can I bind coverage through the storefront?
- Yes! You can either bind an existing quote that you previously submitted or if you submitted via email, the quote will be a link to the storefront to bind.
4. Claims Process
How do my clients report a claim?

Who handles claims, and how can I check claim status?
- We work closely with K2 Insurance Claims and Cyberscout (A Transunion company) to provide a quick and thorough response that gets your client back up and running.
Can I assist my client during the claims process?
- We will be kept informed on the status of claims. Given the technical nature of cyber incidents, it is recommended that your clients always contact the incident hotline first.
5. Commission & Payments
What is the commission structure?
- Our standard commission rates are 15% new and 16% for renewal business.
When and how are commissions paid?
- Accounts are issued on agency bill and premium collected is net of commission.
How can I update my payment or banking information?
- Within our payment storefront, there will be options for updating payment information.

How do I get access to the K2 Cyber broker storefront?
- As part of the onboarding process, you will receive a link to establish your login and password to access the storefront.
